Mini Roast Paan ( Sri lankan Roast Bread) recipe & video

This video is made as a tutorial by The Apron, to show how to make Roast Paan to all people of all ages, including young and old. As our mission is usually to inspire people to take on for what they love, to inspire new chefs around the world!
To form the yeast mixture :
a.) Add :
i.) 1/2 cup of lukewarm water,
ii.) 1 teaspoon of sugar,
iii.) 1/2 teaspoon of yeast.
b.) Mix well.
c.) Rest the mixture for 10 minutes, cover the solution.
To form the dough :
a.) Add :
i.) 325g of Flour,
ii.) 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of oil,
iii.) 1 teaspoon of salt,
iv.) 2 teaspoons of milk powder.
b.) Combine Well.
c.) Add Yeast Mixture from the first step!
d.) Knead well for 10 minutes.
e.) Take out the dough, add 2 teaspoons of oil around the container / cooking utensil.
f.) Soften the dough.
g.) Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
To form the greasy flour mixture :
Add :
i.) 1/2 tablespoon of butter
ii.) 1 tablespoon of flour
iii.) 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil
b.) Mix well. - The dough has now risen in size.
Shaping the dough :
a.) Punch/push the dough.
b.) Remove air bubbles.
c.) Weigh and divide into equal portions. (Example :- If you want to divide the dough to 5 parts, divide the amount weighed by 5, and equalize the parts of dough.)
d.) Make the equalized proportions into small ball-shaped dough pieces.
e.) Cover and rest for 10 minutes.
f.) Grease out the baking pan with the greasy mixture.
Mini roast paan shaping and pan greasing :
a.) Shape the balls into a thick disc.
b.) Fold it and paste the edges well.
c.) Gently place the folded dough into the greased-up pan.
d.) Apply greasy flour mixture gently to one side of each dough piece.
e.) Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Baking :
a.) After risen, bake them for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
b.) Release them one by one.
c.) Broil them for 30 minutes until both sides become golden colour. All done, enjoy your Roast Paan! Thanks for watching,
